DPM Stars will be welcoming RAK Week, Feb 12-15.  Random Acts of Kindness week will present challenges each day encouraging students and staff to spread kindness with one simple gesture.  Kindness can also be shown at home as students seek to use words and actions that are meaningful to their families.

As a Spring service project, our STARS will be showing kindness to our community by collecting unopened cereal boxes/bags.  The cereal will be donated to a local compassion center on Friday.  In exchange for their cereal, students will receive 2 suckers - one to keep and one to give away.

We would love to partner with you, our STAR families, in teaching this important character trait of kindness.  To support from home, there are numerous books on Youtube and in our local libraries, as well as a plethora of kindness activities found on Pinterest.
